North Country | Heroes Of The Kingdom ![]()
Photo Albums From Junior Camp:
![]() North Country junior campers gathered at His Thousand Hills to learn about "Heroes of the Kingdom". Each day we studied a Bible hero and also heard stories of Christian heroes who spread the word of God and the love of God in amazing ways. Our LITs (teen helpers) presented some inspiring dramas that highlighted what it takes to be a Hero for the Kingdom. Many activities were centered around courage, faith and service. On the low ropes course, everyone got to find their way through the horizontal spider's web and the maze.(blindfolded) We had a simulated disaster drill where all had to work as teams to help to get everyone rescued. Every night we had a campfire with a time for serious thoughts about what it means to follow Jesus. Swimming at Hill Creek, enjoying the water slide at camp, skating in the gym, after-dinner skits, Capture the Flag and Mission Impossible games were all great fun and are treasured traditions at our Junior Camp. On our last morning everyone received a medal that says "Be a Hero for the Kingdom". Thanks to our dedicated counselors and teen leaders who helped make this a memorable week!
