Photo Albums With Many Pictures

Our teens gathered at His Thousand Hills in Wellsboro, PA for our summer North Country Teen Camp.  The weather was close to perfect as we studied several stories about Peter during our "On the Rock" theme.   An adventure off-site to some real rocks provided a chance to learn about the skills involved with rock climbing.  Our camp director, Ben Nevin, is an experienced climber and cheered everyone on to overcome any fears and misgivings.  Back at camp we did a service project involving rocks by moving them around to form a Prayer Garden area  which has a large rock cross in the center and a rock wall outline of a fish surrounding the garden. A few surprise appearances of some "friendly" snakes entertained us.

    There was plenty of time for fun, swimming in the pond, many group games, campfires, climbing the climbing tower and the hit of the week - Gaga ball!   Stones were also used in the making of our craft crosses.

    It was a great group of Christian youth who love to get together and are serious about their faith.  Each morning a few leaders and campers gathered together to pray for the day during Morning Watch. Two of the teens shared at the final campfire about how God has been using them to reach out to others.   It really doesn't get any better than that!  Thanks again to our directors, Ben Nevin and Jeff Brewster!
